Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes

Today, the iheartfaces photo challenge is to to take a great photo of a loved one without highlighting her face; to highlight her head, shoulders, knees, toes, belly, bum, etc.  Of course I could have taken a new photo, but the kiddos just weren't feeling photogenic today (translation: they needed naps). So after a few minutes of perusing my photos, I realize I do take a decent number of shots that could fit the requirements.   As much as I love Em's naked Santa Baby photoshoot, I thought those shots were a little out of season.  And I do take an awful lot of baby fingers and toes shots, but they're nothing to write home about (not like JDubbs's cousin Jaime's photo of baby Dylan, which I really hope she submitted because I loved it).  I do like the photo shoot I just discussed recently with our wedding rings on Em's toes, but I like these ones from that day better. 

But I didn't pick one of those, either. 

Maybe one I took this weekend, of my mom showing Em the carousel at the mall while we waited for Jax's turn?

Hmmmm...I think I'll choose another of my favorites, the walking away from me shot.  I realize I do this one a lot.  Remember my post about leading lines?  I could use one of those.

Or think sunnier and head to San Diego.

There are always such good opportunities to take faceless photos at the beach.

Alright, enough of the suspense.  I'll just tell you.  I chose this one because I just love the seagulls.  I love how JDubbs is watching them and how Jax is watching Daddy watching them.  And I love Coronado, so there you go.
