SNOW 101

Welcome to Vermont winters, Jax. If you want to survive, you must learn how to dress like a lumberjack.

Now that you can't move or put your arms down, please feel free to enjoy the freezing fun of snow.

Not enjoying yourself? It's probably because it's below freezing and you're too young to be able to make a snowball or snowman, and your parents don't have a sled for you yet. Although once you learn to sled you will also learn about the joys of windburn.

The cardinal rule of winter fun is "Don't fall down, because you may never be able to get back up again."

And never climb on snow banks. They can be slippery and cause you to slide into the street or in front of a runaway moose.

Yes, winter fun can last half the time it takes you to get dressed, but that's half of the charm. Welcome to snow, kid! Get used to it.
