News flash: I like to take pictures of Jax.
Really? you say. I hadn't noticed.
I know, I know, this is hardly a news flash. But what you may not know is that for the last month or so I have been using the manual settings on my nifty big camera; I have to take so many pictures just to get a few that come out well. Monday we went down to the end of our driveway to let Baxter play in the little stream that runs through our property, and I couldn't resist the opportunity to try to get good shots of Jax in natural light.
It's harder than you'd think, especially in a spot where there is light and shadow.
I have to change the setting as the sun goes behind a cloud, or if he moves out of the light.
It's challenging, but really rewarding, and I think that having all of these pictures of him later will be so gratifying, as will my hopefully improved photography skills.

wow bones you really could take pictures on the side for some extra cash you have quite a talent:)
I hate shadows!!! I have been trying to edit one stinkin picture of mine for 3 days now. I can't figure out how to fix the shadow and I know it's possible while editing.
Love the picture of his eyes!
yay for manual setting. It's really much harder than I anticipated. I took some lame pictures last night and they just didn't some out well.
