Since his mom was an English teacher once upon a time, we are very aware of the benefits of having a child develop an early love of reading, but with Jax we didn't even need to try. He gravitates toward books, prefers them to toys, and (most days) will sit quietly while you read him a story, especially one with illustrations by Eric Carle. It is one of the best parts of each day, and I can only hope that this is not just a stage but a part of his personality that will we will hopefully nurture throughout his life. I am so unspeakably happy about this--if he is going to be like me at all, I'm glad it's in this way :)

Yay for books! Little MIchael likes his books over his toys too. I hope my kids (when I have them) will love books that much!
Connor loves "Moo, Baa, La La La." He thinks it's hilarious! haha...
