It is a bittersweet day for those of the Dubbs clan who live in Vermont, because we can no longer count JDubbs's Nana, Grand-mere, as one of those people. She has sold her home in Vermont after three years and is heading back to California to replant her roots. It has been such fun having Grand-mere just around the corner, sharing stories around the dinner table and laughing at Jax and Baxter as they grow up.
Baxter always knew Grand-mere was an easy mark for treats :)

What a blessing to have her so close to be able to get to know Jax as he has grown. She even waited out my day-long labor in the hospital waiting room to be thre when he was born! She is his Great Grand-mere and now he has to share her with his cousin, Tyler, but it won't be without a little sadness. Luckily, though, she can keep tabs on his through this blog.
