Still working on a good picture of the four of us, so these will have to do.
This year we were lucky enough to have my sister Jessie and her family come up for the 4th of July celebration in Quechee (which is actually on the 3rd, but we aren't picky). It's on Lake Pinneo with food, games, music, prizes, face-painting, balloon animals, and of course, fireworks! And the answer to inevitable follow-up question to that is yes, Jax loved the fireworks and kept asking for more, and Em cried until she was fed. Then World War III could have erupted and she would have been an oblivious happy camper under the Hooter Hider.
And don't forget the great picture of Christian and Erika I posted here. What a great family we have!

But back to the celebration. My niece and nephew were wonderful and truly love their little cousins. Erika made a new friend and came in third in the hula hoop contest! Christian and Jax bonded and became very good friends.
I think everyone had a great time and hopefully this will become a tradition! We will definitely be back next year.
