My sister Amanda and her boyfriend Chris came up for a short visit to see the kiddos and enjoy some family bonding time. What better way to spend an evening than at JDubbs's softball game, enjoying the sunshine? Jax loves going to cheer on his daddy and it was great to spend some family time with my sister and Chris, even though he was under the weather, poor thing.
Check out my handsome husband heading up to bat. This is how Jax spends most of Daddy's games:
He yells, "Go, Daddy, go! Swing, Daddy, swing!"
When Daddy wasn't at bat, he played with his auntie and made her laugh.
Amanda made time to get to know Em and I'd say Em was happy to get so much attention and chat with Auntie AJ.
Then JDubbs toppped it all off with what would have been a homerun if not for some imperfect base-running. Go Daddy!
We love having visitors, family and friends. I also love doing everyday things when we have guests so they can get to know our kids as they really are. It was a classic summer day and we wouldn't have wanted to share it with anyone else!
