Consternation

Consternation: [kon-ster-ney-shuhn] noun.  A sudden, alarming amazement or dread that results in utter confusion; bewilderment.

This is Jax's new look, and he wears it all the time: one of befuddlement, confusion, consternation.  Note the furrowed brow.  It's usually accompanied by a "Hmmph?" in his little high-pitched voice of perplexity.

But don't fret!  It doesn't mean that something's wrong; he's just a little guy in a big world, trying to figure it all out, from getting down from a chair to fitting blocks into a shape sorter. 

The look of a great thinker!
